Adult & Family Workgroup

The goal of the Adult & Family Workgroup is to provide critical supports for adults (age 24+), seniors, and those who love or care for them in order to promote healthy living and improved quality of life.

Defining Workgroup Objectives

1. Adults in Wayne County experience good mental health.

By 2031, reduce the percentage of Wayne County adults reporting 14 or more days of poor mental health per month from 18% (2023) to 14%. The workgroup will do this by expanding use of the Credible Minds platform, which had 201 users as of June 2026.

2. All Wayne County residents have access to services available locally.

By 2031, improve access to local services by reducing the ratio of population to primary care physicians. The workgroup will do this by increasing the number of Wayne County service providers enrolled in MyWayfinder and attending MyWayfinder information sessions.
